I am doing a survey targeting general dentists’ knowledge about TMD (Etiology, diagnosis, management and prognosis).
I looked deeply in some of similar studies but it sounds that each study has its own questionnaire.
Is there any validated questionnaire to test dentists’ TMD knowledge?
Something you could use is an the evaluation for performance. This is call in some studies "Objective Standarized Clinical Examination". I would suggest to look for performance standards (both in diagnosis and treatment), and then compare them with the dentists performance.
Hello Yagoub. I've already done research focusing on the general dentists’ knowledge about TMD and I haven't found a validated questionnaire. I am not sure you will find one. What I've done was to elaborate one questionnaire based on 2 very interesting studies, performed by Glaros et al. (1994) and Tegelberg et al. (2007), as follows:
