I am conducting some research into the effectiveness of animal-assisted therapy in terms of (psychological) wellbeing and am looking for a simplistic measure of wellbeing that can be used either with young children (under 10s) and/or people with mental impairments. As such, standard measures of self-reported wellbeing such as PANAS or WEMWBS may be too complex for these samples. Is anyone aware of something a little more simplistic (perhaps using a smiley face scale or similar) that has been used reliably with such samples?
