Syringe pumps can be precise to displace nano or picolitre volume, however, the surface tension at the orifice force the water to form a microlitre-sized droplet to form at the end of the tube, resulting in quantized dosing. I came across piezoelectric dispensing systems but I'm looking for a simpler solution. Are there any kind of syringe tips or adapters that can break the surface tension and achieve reliable dosing?
Thanks in advance.
