Is there a questionnaire or scale that will help me measure domestic abuse victim sympathy?

I am doing my dissertation on attitudes towards male victims of domestic abuse and one of the dependent variables I am measuring is sympathy towards the victim. so I want to know if there is a scale out there already that I can use to measure this.

Perhaps start with the Inventory of Beliefs about Wife Beating (1987) (a link to the full article is on this site) and see if any of the articles citing that measure (approx 160) have used it to develop a measure for male victims. Good luck.
