Is there a protocol or kit to check Ammonia level in Plasmodium Culture?

We want to check ammonia level in Plasmodium culture in response of some specific induction but unable to find some suitable protocol for this live parasite culture. Anybody doing it for some cell culture or for parasite culture with some specific protocol or reagent or kit?
