Several publications focus on organiz/sational culture features of succesful hospitals - therefore theirs doctors, nurses and administrators. Some hospital culture transformations are described (depending on the theoretical focus adopted) using a Competing Values Framework. In the UK, due to new government policies, hospital cultures are described as evolving towards a market-oriented kind of transformation - of ocurse I am oversimplifying. Clearly that sort of transformation has an impact on changing physicians-nurses-administrators "cultural" profiles. Has anybody explored what speciffically your health system practice is requering from physicians and nurses?
