While sampling various materials, I've ended up with a somewhat electroplated appearance in my plastic ED-XRF powder sample dish. When I don't have enough powder sample to scan, I get signatures of bismuth in the histogram, so I'd like to get it removed from the dish.

I've tried water, DI water, multiple types of napkin, chemistry lab napkins, sand, clay, and sulfate powders. Most of it is out, but there is still a metallic coating.

Any suggestion is very much appreciated. Especially if it actually works!
