While studying about the roots of Indian philosophy and mathematics, I found that many philosophers consider the Vaisesika sutras of Kanada as the earliest exposition of `physics' (although I disagree personally as far as the terminology is concerned). Therefore, I am curious know if somebody has tried to write down the sutras, which were written in Sanskrit words, in terms of mathematics.
The logician-philosopher Graham Priest, in the course of his work on Buddhist logic, broaches logical and scientific issues and concepts discussed by Hindu Nyāya and Vaisesika philosophers; eminent Buddhist and Hindu philosophers were apparently familiar with one another's work. Some of Priest's writings on paraconsistent logic could presumably be applied in your area of interest.
Thank you very much @karl for informing me about G. Priest. Although his works do not answer the particular question that I asked, however, the exposition of Buddha's logic by Priest, is what I can now refer to in the context of my work.
Priest discusses mathematical logic, but not its direct application or usefulness to physics. For example, we know that Newton's law of gravitation indicates a singularity at r=0. Can mathematical logic solve this problem?
