The question is about a simple winding of Transformer or even a "choke".

I measure the impedance over the frequencies of a builded transformer. The next step is to simulate the transformer with FEM. The two results match prity good.

For a better understanding i try to simulate with lumped elements. If i do the impedance do not look like the measured at the first. If i variate the coupling i get a valid result. With higher coupling the result in the low frequency range is correct and with lower coupling the result in the high frequency range is valid.

Materials in FEM and lumped simulation is all linear over frequency... I am wondering about: the effect of changing the coupling. Is the coupling not only an issue about the geometry?
