I am using macro-remains found in black bear feces to reconstruct bear's diet. In order to express data corrected for digestibility of each prey species/items I use correction factors developped by Hewitt and Robbins (1996). But ours bears eat a lot of bird eggs, and I can find a correction factor for that type of food items for Ursus. Any suggestions?

Digestibility calculated in (%) = I: Nitrogen Intake; F: Feacal Nitrogen output on test diet. for your case to get correction factor (FK) subtract Fecal protein of non protein diet in the experiment from Feacal Nitrogen output on test diet.
i.e
FK= Fecal Nitrogen output on test diet - Fecal protein of non protein diet
