the database tranfermation to rice is still cannot be found. only part data was found in some database.

Hi Yuan,

It's always easy to find  lines for genes knockouts on lots of data bases. but if you are working with a gene that is mutated to over-express in tissue using 35s promoter for example, you don't find anything.

I thought to ask, maybe there is actually one that I don't know about.

Thanks for the explanation. Knock-out lines created by T-DNA, transposon elements or even the new generation of technologies such as TALENs or CRISPR, the DNA of the genes are disrupted (and stay). I am wondering how many generations and how faithful these transgenes in those 'overexpressor' lines will be expressed (after so much money and energy invested). Very often we hear that an overexpressing line goes silence in our transgenic researches.
