We are using Monte Carlo methods to model X-ray transport through materials.  The code requires 4 optical properties for each material: absorption coeff (mu_a), scattering coeff (mu_s), real-refractive index (n_r), and anisotropy (g).  The first 3 properties can be calculated using online databases such as XCOM and XOP.  However, I have not been able to find references for the anisotropy, especially in the X-ray regime.  Alternatively, anisotropy can be determined if the reduced scattering coefficient (mu_s') is known: mu_s' = (1-g)*mu_s.
