I'm gonna to perform some experiments with an UV-VIS spectrometer in order to characterize the active principle inside the medical infusion bag. I have to define the spectral range of the instrument and i would like to know if the plastic foils of the medical infusion bag are transparent to the UV radiation. The use of NIR spectroscopy is difficult due to the presence of water inside the bag so i though to inspect the bag on the UV-VIS range whre the active principles are active.
