There is a lack of papers in literature dealing with diffusion or heat equations in spherical coordinates solved by an approximate solution obtained by homotopy perturbation method with radial symmetry. I would like to know if any difficulty is added to the problem when one considers the symmetry of the system as one of the boundary conditions.
Try to convert the equation from spherical coordinates to a 1D rectangular . Then apply the method.,. I guess, there will be some problems in reverse trabform, but it could be OK
