Dear all, I have a question about E.coli Thioredoxin (TrxA). Is it functional in dimer or monomer form? I read an article that mention the thioredoxin active site of human Trx is blocked by dimer formation and human homodimer is inactive. For my current project I need to know if the homodimer of E.coli Trx is inactive as well or not?
