Is the COVID-19 pandemic going to decrease or affect social & Human science researches for the benefits of applied sciences researches?
and what is the level of effectiveness?
I think that human research, especially those that accompanied the technological development, such as communication research, is necessary to continue its work, because it is dependent on many processes such as marketing, advertisements, interviews and the publish of information, so the Covid19 did not affect its scientific path.
COVID-19 pandemic situation is going to affect everything. First of all, it is going affect the global economy and that will ultimately affect researches of both social and applied sciences. I agree, for a shorter period of time we need to boost the applied researches until the situation gets normal.
COVID-19 pandemic are affecting everything in the global society including economy, politics and also deteriorate humanity in developing countries like Bangladesh. Whereas, researches are beyond the questions either on social and human science or even the applied one. I propose to do some applied research that could immediately applicable for human welfare rather than any fundamental or basic one.
