The old CORONA virus is known , but the pandemic version in these days COVID-19 genome sequence is still a puzzle , because we do not have certain evidence that this 19 version is either genetically engineered one or no. Do you have certain evidence that this COVID-19 is certain type of biological warefare? Is its genome sequence of this version known? Do you have certain evidences that its genome carry recombinant virulence genes from other organims or no? Have you think that nucleotide analogues will be beneficial in treatment?

Yes, the sequence of the novel coronavirus has been known since January. A team of researchers from China sequenced the virus and posted it online in January, and it has been available since then. A lot of controversies have been around since the inception of this virus, and many news outlets (and even some scientists) have designated it as biological warfare or as a synthetic lab-made virus. Fortunately, the answers seem to be NO, as the genome of this virus is highly similar to a coronavirus species found in the local bats and various studies published in highly reputed journals show that the virus may have evolved and changed its host from bats to humans. It is of zoonotic origin, which means it came to humans from other animals, and the studies primarily point out bats, snakes and pangolins, all of which, by the way, are consumed in many parts of China, including Wuhan, where the first case was reported.
