Dear all,
In river hydrogeomorphology restauration studies, there is most often talk of reconnecting the secondary channels at a flow close to the average inter-annual discharge (module), without justifying the reasons. However, with an annual flow that is getting lower and lower and more frequent and intense periods of prolonged drought, establishing a connection at this flow seems to us to be inappropriate. Would you have selective bibliography or case studies feedback on the water level to be fixed as an objective in the restoration of the secondary arms of rivers?
Thank you very much for your reliable help.
