Let me ask a question by a statement.

Indirect calorimetry based on RQ uses VO2 and VCO2 to to measure substrates utilisation in form of estimate predominant fuel source for the bodies energy production. Stoichiometric equations, on the there hand are based on the RQ and are used to indirectly calculate amount of each specific substrate and its type and sub type. Therefore, they are not the same but rather causally connected.

Do you agree?

Thanks
