Dear colleagues, although most people are aware of the Covid-19 influence on humans, in your opinion is there any influence of Covid-19 on animals?
I think Covid 19 has spilled from other animal virus. So particularly this strain has no effects on animals, rather closely associated strain can have affects on Bats, Pangolins etc.
I think laboratory tests have shown that the virus is not transmitted by animals
SARS-CoV-2 has proven to infect cats, dogs, tigers.
It came from bats. Of course it is infecting animals and they are also hosts. This is why we will have to live with them...
And it is rather adaptive. I hope it is not infecting rats...
Poachers are reported to make more money with more killed animals under the COVID-19 pressure (possibly some societies require more money or have less options to generate money in normal, legal ways)...
Covid 19 has influence on humans with a certain rate of mortality, however the researchers should show a higher level of social responsibility in relation to their different reports. Different opinions of experts cause confusion to HQs for crisis at the level of some states. Fake news and wrong decisions have big consequences caused by non competent staff holding certain positions. More team work require at the level of regions as well as exchange of experience.
