Most literature describes intradermal injection at the tail base for CIA induction. However, due to technical ease and reduced tissue damage, we are considering subcutaneous (SC) injection at the same site.

• Is there documented precedent for SC collagen injection at the tail base?
• Does SC injection provide a comparable immune response and disease progression?
• Any insights or references validating this method would be appreciated.
