I am Andrea Luca, and I work in Milano (IRCCS Galeazzi). We are one of the biggest reference center in Italy for AIS and we collect many patients from all the country, both for conservative and surgical treatment.

We woudl be interested in a trans-national study project on AIS and we are looking for other partners to design and to carry out it. Would you be interested?

Dear Prof.Chockalingarm, 

We met before on Zorab Symposia. Out of the observations with conservative treatment with Thoracolumbar Lordotic Intervention brace technique in relation with the increased thightness of neuromuscular structures in growing children ( now even more serious as result of their sitting habitudes and lack of stretch- growth of the nervous system ( Milan Roth: neuro-osseous growth relations)  in any mathematical model tensile forces should be implemented and the definition of a optimal human posture ( the former "military posture") should be postulated. 

Not involved in such research but well involved in the clinical assessment of postural growth problems, maybe I can be of help to advise in some parts of making sound models of growing spines,
