Connecting the words social and media is a fast conclusion. It depends on the human results: does it bring people closer together or does it disconnect more. Social media is so interesting and useful to millions of people all over the world. Students can access information in all fields of knowledge and thus it is a boon for them. However, it can be turned into a bane by them if it is in similar way to using games.
There is no doubt that these sites are of great importance, especially in terms of media, advertising, and other aspects, but there are many risks facing them, including the elimination of many of the social characteristics that distinguish people from others. Students use communication sites, especially this media decreased distance and made the exchange of information easy and fast Which allows access to any blog or any study and even any scientific research or invention with absolute ease and this enhances personal diligence and hard work for better results as we should not deny the benefits of the means of communication, and know how to use them in ways that serve the community and reached the goal of Without any actions detrimental to the interests of others, and of course we must be careful and attention and educate our students who yearn for a promising future.
In fact, the impact of social media not only on students but also on all people can be positive as well as negative. Generally speaking, its advantages, in my opinion, are more beneficial and helpful than its disadvantageous. Students are supposed to be matured and educated so it is a boon to them.
back to about 2 decades when the internet was a presitige and something that few possesed. the only source of information was the book and transfer was only through the paper and pen.
smart phone was not available for most of them and no apps like twitter or WA.
the time spent was mostly on travel or in movies or with friends and had bulit a bondage with one another.
enter the world of social media though it made the world smaller it also has made the relations smaller and shorter and bonds weaker.
weaker memory and weaker thought process and also a weak tolerance .
inastant transfer of knowledge may be both useful and at the same time harmful .
i feel there should abe balance for both. enrich your mind by hard work and rely on your mind than depending on the smart phones which can hbe hacked
When you talk about social media, I imagine that you talk about social networks, in that case, depends on the use of it, in my case, I do to inform me of general culture, events, research, etc; That's why I use only very reliable sources.
It is boon in context to the varoius benefits but misuse/ overuse is the major drawback of it. Young minds get diverted sometimes with fake religion-related or some issue-related news.
Information is always forerunner to 'Justice' & efficient Inertia via social platform is always a driving force in 'Democracy'
Freedom of Speech & Expression, Inherent Fundamental Right with citizens, implicitly responsibility on the shoulders & express meaning that Donot take freedom of 'Others'.
'Objectivity' under ideology is 'Boon' & 'Subjectivity' via social media may be 'Boon' or 'Bane'
Through social networking I encourage 'Objectivity'
