Hello, I'd like to ask about experiences with this journal. I've found it on the Beall's list of predatory journals, but I do not know to what extent should I take that list seriously. I'd appreciate some insights on this as I am fairly new to research. Thanks.

Interesting case, the journal “Signa Vitae” (https://www.signavitae.com/) gives a somewhat ambiguous picture. There are some disturbing signs:
-The owner of/behind the journal is/was(?) a company called Pharmamed Mado Ltd (https://pharmamed.com/en/about-us ) it is, and I quote “... a trading company whose main activity is the import, promotion, registration and distribution of medicinal products and medical devices.”
-It is as you indicated included in the updated version of the Beall’s list of stand-alone journals (https://beallslist.net/standalone-journals/#update)
-Looking at the ‘Scopus content coverage’ here https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19700173165 they accepted a three-fold greater number of papers than ‘average’, this is often reason for Scopus to re-evaluate a journal
However, there are some comforting features as well:
-A Scopus indexing https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19700173165 for already quite some years (since 2008) with a small CiteScore of 0.4
-Indexed in Clarivate’s SCIE, with a small impact factor (0.63)
-All papers have received and acceptance date info, a DOI and are well-edited
-Full transparency about the APC
So, I tend to say that this journal is not predatory, and that the Beall’s list is wrong here.
