For wood and fibers, we use glutaraldehyde fixation followed optionally with 4% Osmium tetroxide fixation and finally, graded ethanol dehydration followed by resin (LR white or Epon) infiltration prior to embedding.
The procedure however varies greatly depending on the sample itself.
