Is RabGTPase prenylation reversible or not?

Hi all,

I'm working on RAB10, which is a small RabGTPase and is geranylgeranylated at his c-terminal cysteine residues. This is important for membrane insertion. I'm wondering if this geranylgeranylation is reversible or not?
