There exist no direct relation between ECC, and QC, but in general the system is better than of other system depend on the your application .

Ed, Quantum Cryptography is a relatively broad field with several different applications, and even technologies. And I have not seen a second quantization in any of them, because it is not necessary. It does not have to be modified in depth, however it is not ready to be implemented as is. Most of the quantum cryptography solutions have not been adapted to a hybrid infrastructure it will run on in the future.

That is one of the flaws of quantum cryptography, is that ignores coherence and collective effects that would come with a correct second quantization, but the first quantization is also deeply flawed. I am a PhD in quantum physics and a cryptographer, I would not say it if I would not be sure. Get more information, that you can rely on. You may differ from the party line.
