The "Research Interest Score" (RIS) calculated by ResearchGate is based on citations, "Reads" by members and recommendations (see https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14293473316753-Research-Interest-Score). Therefore, a publication alone does not increase the RIS. On the other hand, the RIS can relatively easily be manipulated with the help of friends who are also members of ResearchGate. Therefore, the RIS should not be taken too seriously. Why are you interested in increasing it?
