In a MFC Platinum were coated over Carbon electrode, but the electricity produced by Platinum caoated electrode was four times lower than that of plain carbon electrode.
Can you tell some more details about the carbon you used and the way you deposited the Pt? For example if the carbon is porous 1000 m2/g and you deposited Pt that clogged the pores orifices you might obtain lower currents.
If you can also add details regarding the method you used to test the catalytic behavior.
yes....... no doubt Pt is a good catalyst, good reducing agent, conductor as well, but guys my discussion is coating with Pt i should get better output of electricity but why am i geting lower output than plain electrode.....?
