Indonesia is one of the country with limited publication, low currency, and frequent piracy.
These three factors make it hard to know if any of the instruments we often use is actually a free instrument or a pirated product. It was often the case that widely used psychiatric questionnaire was actually illegally translated and used locally without any international publication. However, this becomes a problem when we seriously consider publishing our work to international journal.
The two questionnaire I specifically want to know are Children's depression inventory and Revised children manifest anxiety scale. It's hard to find whether or not those are free since those are outdated (CDI-2 and RCMAS-2 are actually available) so the old purchase page is hard to find via google.
I can't just casually ask the author since most of commercial instruments cost more than a month wage (due to our low currency). Does anyone know any purchasing information or whether the lack of purchase page means that it was free?
