It is said that money is the root of all evil, however, one can better do good when he has money. Money makes one happy, smile and can even heal the sick when present. Is it truly the root of all evil?
Money is a double edged sword...it can help achieve the good as well as the evil. Carried by its waves without proper view of it can lead one to evil ends. How?Money is the influential resource that can change the good traits of its owner, set a troubling sea between friends and close relations, make the humble arrogant and the merciful wicked. I have seen people kill because of the quest to amass riches!Solution? We must not be carried away by the desire to have more money, otherwise, we may not have time for spiritually refreshing activities that bolsters our good morals such as readibg of the Bible, attending christian gatherings etc.
I am in consensus with the wise king David who prayed to God not to make him rich nor poor. The right measure of material things (money)will make one really happy...excesses of money coupled with headlong attitude leads to evil.
Money is NOT the root of all evil but the LOVE of money IS. (According to the Bible). Money can buy us the necessities of life (food, clothing, shelter etc). It can make our lives easier. We can us it to bless others. Used unwisely, it can make us miserable (think lots of debt), makes us greedy or do things that we wouldn’t ordinarily do ( rob a bank). Money is all about an attitude ( especially one of gratitude & giving). The book “The Secret “ explains these concepts well. When you use the Law of Attraction, you’ll be in step with God.
