I am trying to build an in-silico dynamic model of metabolic reactions and trying to consider the scenario as within a cell, with the least assumptions that could be made. For designing the equations for co-factor mediated enzymatic reactions, what reaction mechanism should be considered? As the binding to the cofactor in the whole mechanism is swift and transient, is it wise enough to ignore the intermediate enzyme-substrate-product complex and consider it to be a Theorell Chance Ordered Bi Bi mechanism?
