In the graphene synthesis attempts (especially, in the wet chemical method), while some researcher are using high quality crystalline graphite, other researcher use low quality graphite even amorphous sources. They got defect free mono and few layer graphene. Please let me know is it really possible to get usable graphene from amorphous carbon sources?

There exists a well know problem about standardization in the field of graphene and related materials. Currently, a lot of stuff is called "high quality graphene" and different people put different meaning in this phrase.
Majority of interesting electronic effects and bright results have been registered in the scotch-tape exfoliated, CVD and SiC epitaxial graphene. However these methods of graphene synthesis are not very good for mass production at the moment.
At the same time there are many products on the market which are labeled "graphene" and sold by kilograms. Typically it is a powder made of very small flakes (about 1 micron) of graphene, few-layer graphene and relatively thick graphite microplatelets all mixed together. The powder is produced by liquid exfoliation. Strictly speaking such powder is not graphene. Moreover, size, shape and doping of each little flake and microplatelet is different. I will not be surprised if some of the flakes in such a mixture are defect free because the size of the flakes is very small (it is much harder to produce a big chunk of graphene without defects). Some people use such powders to modify properties of epoxies and rubbers etc. In the end such materials should be called carbon composites or something of this sort but people like to use the word "graphene" probably because of the hype.

I think its not possible, because firstly the carbon atoms are irregularly arranged in amorphous carbon sources, even after complete combustion there is no arrangement of carbon atoms into hexagonal sheets. Secondly, In case of graphite it already has layered graphene sheets. So the synthesis is to extract this layers.
