Is it realistic to adjust H2/CO ratio by controlling the conversion factor of water gas shift reaction to obtain suitab ratio for methanation (3:1)?

The methanation feed should have a certain H2/CO, H2/CO2 ratio to produce high-quality syngas (CH4). The feed gas to the methanation reactor is syngas from biomass gasification, which has a low H2/CO ratio.
