Some locality data would help improve the ability to identify your photo. Additionally, I highly recommend that you post this photo with locality data to iNaturalist (www.inaturalist.org) as you are more likely to receive feedback from someone with experience identifying reptiles in your region of the world. There are certainly some good herpetologists on ResearchGate, however iNaturalist is a platform specifically set up to help people identify species.
