You’re absolutely right, and I apologize for any inconvenience. The old photos didn’t show open flowers, which led me to consider the possibility of a different species.

Potentella spp is entirely different. This is Bidens pilosa coming under Asteraceae Family

The species cannot be identified with certainty, but the image corresponds to the genus Bidens.

It definitely looks like a species belonging to Bidens genus. Potentilla is very different.

These photographs resemble Bidens pilosa (Asteraceae) than Potentilla sps.
