Yes, it is possible. However, antimicrobial activity strongly depends on the type of natural fibre you are thinking of. Silver release systems for keratin fibres will not work. This is due to strong binding of silver ions by sulfur bearing amino acids (mainly cysteine, cystine) of these fibres.
