For an study of mine i'am looking to build an small hydrogen plant for a city. The hydrogen is produced with an proton exchange membrane and then stored in metal organic frameworks. I like to know i've it is possible to do that without the use of an compressor.

Hi Eildert,
Have you measured the equilibrium Pressure-Composition-Temperature isotherm for the hydrogen storage material? That might provide some answers as to whether you need a compressor or not. Having said that, I am aware that some of the commercial alkaline and PEM electrolyzers can deliver hydrogen and oxygen in the 100-150 psig range without a compressor.
