Can nitrate be seperated/removed from a stream (waste water from a greenhouse) containing sodium or can sodium be removed from a stream (waste water from a greenhouse) containing nitrate.
The method should be able to process a maximum of 0.75 m3/h

1) Ca-exchanged clay might provide a platform for sodium removal via ion exchange (not touching the hydraulic and regeneration issues).

Ca-exhanged clay I'll have to do some research and tests on. Thank you for that suggestion.
Microbial denitrification is not possible, not fast enough.
Other suggestions are always welcome.
