To Mateso Bashingwa: In the case of RG, DOIs can be generated for most of your unpublished work. As publications classified as article, book, chapter, patent, cover page, poster, and conference paper are considered to have been published elsewhere, DOIs cannot be generated for these types of research.

if you upload a presentation on researchgate you can get DOI generated for you
Please note that ResearchGate (RG) is not a journal. When you upload a text, this will not become a publication. RG is just a platform for collecting research published elsewhere or for presenting preprints, data and other unpublished texts.
