Hi,
I am a Biological Anthropologist studying whether a especific anthropometric variable (such as the head femoral diameter) in the human skeleton distinguishes males and females. Some studies performed logistic regression, while others used discriminant analysis, so the results come from different analyses. However, all previous studies reported the n, mean, and standard deviation of the measure of males and females.
So, I am tempted to use that data to perform a logistic metaregression.

Rodrigo Retamal Logistic regression is a statistical model that belongs to linear regression models that enable the modeling of a binomial variable in terms of a set of expected random variables, whether numerical or categorical. Logistic regression is used to predict the likelihood of an event occurring with additional knowledge of the values of variables that can be explained or related to that event. Data must be aggregated in light of this concept to perform logistic regression.
