There are many published literature available on modeling of actual shape of geocell in FLAC3D. But there is no paper available on Plaxis 3D. Many people modeled it as a square or circular shape in Plaxis 3D but no one able to model it as the actual curve-linear shape. Is it a limitation of Plaxis 3D, in modeling thin curve shape?
Hi Ramesh did exact shape u mentioned in flac 3D using Autocad. Pls check with him whether it can be done in plaxis too

Yes it is possible
first of all, create poly-curve >>> segments >>> add 6 segments >>> specify segment type as line >>> choose the angle between the segments (60).
Create surface and extrude the honeycomb, define the properties of the geocell.
You may want to have a look at the attached picture, I did it with the mentioned steps.

This is also possible by using a combination of segments consisting of lines and arches with the required lengths and angles as I mentioned before

Thank you Omar for your help. I have few more questions. Are you able to mesh it. Can you input the thickness of the geocll. Usually it is 1 mm to 2 mm.

Yes, it is possible to mesh it after you define it as a plate. You can define the other properties as well.
In the attached picture, I extruded the geocell out and inside of the soil and both of them have meshed with very fine mesh.
For the record, the dimension of the geocell in the attached picture is in meters because my model is big and I had no time to change it.
