I would like to collaborate with someone having access to a research lab to test the brain activity of different subject under different stress/emotional level and allow Neuroevolution to learn the different stress level under supervised conditions.
Heman, it is my understanding that we now have better technology to investigate neuroplasticity in the brain and the brain apparently creates new neurons and pathways in response to our experiences. You should also read Norman Doidges books 'The Brain that Changes Itself' and 'The Brain's Way of Healing 2015)' for fabulous insight into the description of neuroplasticity and also excellent case studies including clinical conditions where innovative ideas utilised the concept of neuroplasticity to improve outcomes in these clinical conditions. Also look at projects in our Neuroplasticity Research Group. We have used Doidge's books as a template for a number of case studies towards development of innovative treatments for stroke patients. A lot of the ideas in popular psychology books can be introduced to rehabilitation so read anything from Malcolm Gladwell, Matthew Syed, and Rolf Dobelli will be worth having on your bedside table!!!!!
