As the dimensions are in almost nanometers, is it technically feasible to design such a structure and then characterize and check the electrical output of such a structure?

I think it is possible but when we talk about dimensions you have to be very careful for um that is very small. For more details you can go through Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP) , a unique activity jointly run by the Centre of Excellence in Nanoelectronics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc).
