Hi. I obtained an MA in TESOL not too long ago, but due to illness and familial obligations I have not done a great deal of teaching in the last three years. I am now ready to enter into the field again, but I feel very rusty and nervous about taking up the teaching mantle once again. My question then relates to the the steps necessary to find a mentor teacher to help me reboot my theoretical and practical teaching skills. This mentor-learner relationship would probably be best served via long distance instruction (i.e. the internet), but if there's the possibility of collaborating in vivo that would be great.
