I can't imagine this to be practical. We are talking about No-259 with half-life of 58 minutes, which alpha-decays to Fm-255 with half-life of 20 hours, which alpha-decays to Cf-251 with half-life of nearly 900 years, which can be considered "stable" for the intended application ... But why bother to have two alpha decays per atom (producing radiation and its associated problems), when you could start-off with Californium (Cf) in the first place? To try to answer your question: I am guessing it might be possible, but is it worth the effort?
