I calculated vegetation indices (MSI, NDVI, NDWI, NMDI, SWCI) for the Warangal region of India from 2014 to 2019 (May month) by using Landsat8 data. I got the on-field data of crop area sown from the official website of the Telangana government for 11 different major crops (Paddy, Cotton, gram....) for Rabi and Kharif season. Is it possible to establish the relation between the Remote sensing-based Vegetation Index and on-field Crop area sown Data?

Hello Mahesh Tapas. I have a few ideas:
1. If you have data of crop exact locations, you can identify each crop using NDVI. It can be used to show the dates of sowing/harvesting of different crops. Kind of a model of the growing development flow for each crop using VI(vegetation index) can be created. You can show how colors of indices changing depend on crop types.
2. You can calculate the exact area of sowed various crop year by year based on VI.
3. If you do not have locations of those crops, you can identify each by using VI. Of course, it is possible based on data such as common sowing dates of rice/soybean/cotton/etc in your region. You can arrange shapes of crops by different VI using QGIS.
But it may be not so accurate to show this data.

Pls list down variables and than establish their dependency.
You can use Arc GIS or other tools that will help in zoning of your data region wise or even crop wise like Rabi and Kharif season.
Using these correlations useful forecasting can be made.
