The identical quantitative data was taken before and after the training from both group each group have 35 respondents. For comparison and to check differences I have done independent t-test there was significant difference between the two groups in post test. After t-test I want to see the relationship between them through correlation and regression is it possible from the t-test ?
Because, I did try to run correlation and regression analysis through the changes in pre and post for each group separately but no significant relationship between IV and DV were found as like in t-test. I want to have comments on my this method and I will appreciate other suggestions for my work.

A more powerful test would be to run a 2-way repeated measures ANOVA. The repeated measures factor would be Time (i.e., pre vs. post) and the other factor would be the Group factor, i.e., a between-subjects variable.
Running regression or correlation doesn't help you. You can't make causal conclusions with regression or correlation. You can only establish association.
