Is it possible to compare the light yields of crystals having short decay time with a crystal having long decay time?

I have grown a single crystal using Czochralski method which has long decay time but seems to have good luminescence. When I measured the beta counts of 90-Sr using counter at cps unit, the counts are compatible with CMO and BGO single crystal. How can I justify the light yield of the newly grown crystal? For example, I used oscilloscope but failed due to long decay time probably. The background noise is very much dominant. If anyone knows any other ideas please teach me. Thank you

Instead of an old common (analog?) oscilloscope, you might be interested to (re- try to) record it using a more recent, low cost, 16-bit (or even higher, digital) Oscilloscope(s)[1], a version having a high memory, or even you might be interested to (test-) try some other alternatives, either a high[2], or a low[3,4] cost alternatives.
