Is it possible to alter large molecular size of ammonium phosphomolybdate and reduce the size with same properties ( such as acid resistance) ?

i would like to alter keggin structure (phosphomolybdate) and increase the number of ammonium ions. Is it possible to bring down the size of the AMP molecule ?
